Donor Letter
an associated program of Shunpike
IImagining SeattleIiiI
Summer 2012 A New Teen Project is being launched this fall with the generous support of the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs and Seattle Parks and Recreation.
Working with an architect/visual artist team, teens create plans for what they would like to see in Southeast Seattle. These site specific models for murals, sculptural and architectural forms are a way to imagine neighborhood improvements. Models, sketches, drawings and/or paintings will be exhibited at Van Asselt Community Center and possibly other venues.
We need your help! We are collecting packaging materials to build forms. Cardboard boxes, tubes, styrofoam, scraps: anything clean and dry would be greatly appreciated.
We also need:
rolls of art paper, pencils, erasers, markers, watercolor sets, rulers, glue, masking tape and duct tape, snacks and beverages. All monetary donations through Shunpike are tax exempt.
We appreciate your donations and sponsorship! We would like to include your business logo or name in our program materials.
Thank You,
Artwell, an associated program of Shunpike
